1. Operator and acceptance of the Terms
By installing and using the extension or starting an analysis, you agree to these Terms. They also govern visits to the website where applicable. If you do not agree to the Terms, do not use the service and uninstall the extension. If you use the product on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept the Terms on its behalf.
2. What the product provides
EMAnalysis is a browser extension and associated service for researching active eBay listings. On an individual listing page, the extension creates an inspectable sample of comparable listings and calculates the minimum, median and maximum of known prices including delivery. A separate search results analysis shows current listings, sellers, title keywords and available eBay sales information.
The calculator estimates potential profit and return on investment (ROI) using values entered by the user. Analysed-listing history and calculator values are stored locally in Chrome.
3. Public beta and availability
Once the Chrome Web Store listing is published, the product will be provided as a public beta across all 16 eBay marketplaces available through the EMAnalysis integration. During beta testing, features, limits and availability may change as defects are corrected and load is tested.
Material changes affecting access to the product or data processing must be communicated clearly before they take effect. No charge will be made without a separate explicit action by the user and prior disclosure of the price and terms.
4. Research nature of the results
The results help research current listings, but they are not a market valuation, financial advice, a recommendation to buy or sell an item, or a guarantee of price, profit, demand or time to sale. The range is based on selected active listings, not actual completed-sale prices.
Quantities sold are shown only when eBay provides them. An unknown delivery cost remains unknown and is not replaced with zero. A limited sample may be insufficient for a confident conclusion.
5. User decisions
Before buying, reselling or listing an item, you are responsible for checking the item, condition, authenticity, seller, delivery, taxes, fees, costs and rules of the selected marketplace. You are also responsible for the accuracy of values entered in the calculator and for the final decision made using the research.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the product for lawful research into eBay listings.
You must not:
- break the law, infringe third-party rights or breach the rules of the applicable marketplace;
- circumvent access restrictions, quotas, safeguards or technical restrictions;
- interfere with the service, test it for vulnerabilities without permission or distribute malicious code;
- use automation to resell access, copy the service at scale or present its results as a guaranteed valuation;
- send passwords, tokens, payment data or another person's confidential information through support.
7. eBay and other third-party services
EMAnalysis is an independent product, is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay Inc. eBay is a trade mark of eBay Inc. Use of the eBay website, Seller Hub, Product Research, Chrome Web Store and other third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
Public eBay data may be incomplete, delayed, changed or temporarily unavailable. The operator does not control third-party pages and cannot guarantee their continuous availability.
8. Rights in the product
The EMAnalysis code, interface, design, copy and other materials are protected by applicable law. For the duration of the Terms, the user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the extension for its intended purpose.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of the product, brand or third-party materials to the user. Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve the product without identifying the author unless the law requires otherwise.
9. Service operation and updates
We aim to keep the service operational but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be temporarily restricted because of maintenance, vulnerability fixes, eBay or infrastructure failures, reasonable usage limits or legal requirements.
Updates may correct defects, improve compatibility and security, or change the interface. If an update materially changes the user agreement, revised Terms will be published with an updated date and will apply only to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for buying or selling decisions, lost profit, changes in the price of a third-party listing, a seller's actions or the unavailability of a third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the product at any time by uninstalling the extension. The operator may restrict access following a breach of the Terms, a security threat or a mandatory legal requirement. Where possible, the user will be told the reason for the restriction unless notice is prohibited by law or would create an additional risk.
After the extension is uninstalled, local data is removed through Chrome. Previously submitted requests and technical logs continue to be processed only for the periods described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
The governing law has not yet been selected. This section will be completed before the extension is published in the Chrome Web Store; mandatory consumer protections apply regardless. You will be able to contact us before starting court proceedings once support intake opens. Requests are not accepted during public pre-launch.
13. Contacting the operator
The support page shows the current intake status; it does not yet accept product or legal requests. Personal-data requests remain available separately through the privacy contact address in the Privacy Policy.
